Chen Yongqiang è uno scultore cinese residente in Italia. Dopo aver studiato Pittura, ha conseguito la laurea in Scultura in Italia.

La sua ricerca si concentra su forme figurative e animali, utilizzando l’argilla per indagare temi legati alla vita, al movimento e alla trasformazione.

Attratto dalle emozioni umane e influenzato sia dall’arte classica che contemporanea, cerca un equilibrio tra quiete e tensione, tra osservazione e racconto simbolico.

Le sue opere sono state esposte in diverse mostre e fanno parte di collezioni private.

Opera: Pangolino

Scultura in resina – 48 × 43 × 13 cm

Pangolino è il ritratto di una vittima.

Ispirata da un reportage sul traffico illegale di animali, l’opera rappresenta un pangolino morto, arrotolato su se stesso, privo di difesa.

Lasciata intenzionalmente bianca, la scultura sovverte il significato del colore: non purezza, ma assenza; non luce, ma morte silenziosa.

È un gesto di denuncia e compassione. Il pangolino, pur corazzato, non ha potuto difendersi dalla violenza dell’uomo.

Un’opera che non grida, ma interroga, ricorda, accusa.

Biography (EN)

Chen Yongqiang is a Chinese sculptor based in Italy. He studied Painting and later earned a degree in Sculpture in Italy.

His work focuses on figurative and animal forms, using clay to explore life, motion, and transformation.

Drawn to human emotions and influenced by both classical and contemporary art, Chen balances stillness and expressive tension in his work.

His sculptures have been exhibited in various shows and are part of private collections.

Artwork: Pangolin

Resin sculpture – 48 × 43 × 13 cm

Pangolin is the portrait of a victim.

Inspired by a report on the illegal wildlife trade, the sculpture represents a dead pangolin, curled in on itself, stripped of protection.

Left intentionally white, the sculpture reverses the usual symbolism: not purity, but absence; not light, but a silent death.

It’s a gesture of protest and empathy. Even with natural armor, the pangolin could not resist human violence.

This work doesn’t shout — it mourns, it confronts, it remembers.

استُلهم من تقرير حول الاتجار غير المشروع بالحيوانات، ويُظهر بانغولينًا ميتًا، متكورًا على نفسه، بلا حماية.

اللون الأبيض لم يُضف بالصدفة: هو تعبير عن الغياب، عن موت لا يُرى.

العمل يعبّر عن الألم، عن الرفض، عن ذكرى مَن لا يستطيع الدفاع عن نفسه.

عمل لا يصرخ، بل يحزن، يسأل، ويُجبرنا على النظر.

陈永强 简介 (中文)

陈永强是一位居住在意大利的中国雕塑家。他先学习绘画，后在意大利获得雕塑学位。

他的作品多以具象与动物形态为主，通过黏土探索生命、运动与转化的主题。

深受古典与当代艺术影响，他在静谧与情感之间寻找平衡。

其作品曾参展多个展览，并被私人收藏。

作品：《穿山甲》

树脂雕塑 – 48 × 43 × 13 厘米

《穿山甲》是一件静默的纪念。

灵感来自非法贩运穿山甲的报道，作品呈现出一只死亡的穿山甲蜷缩之姿，无助而脆弱。

保留白色是刻意选择：不象征纯洁，而是死亡与缺失。

作品是一种控诉，也是一种哀悼。

即使天生有鳞甲，它也无法抵御人类的贪婪。

这不是一声呐喊，而是一段深沉的沉默，令人无法回避。
