Francesca Danese, nata a Brindisi nel 1977, è un’attrice e insegnante part-time.

Inizia il suo percorso teatrale nel 2004, parallelamente agli studi in Lettere Classiche e al Dottorato in Storia della Lingua Italiana.

Nel 2013 si diploma alla Scuola d’Arte Drammatica Talìa e si forma con registi e attori come Francesca Della Monica, Lindsay Kemp, Ippolito Chiarello, Rita Maffei.

Ha collaborato con compagnie come Noma Physical Theatre, Ammirata, Finibus Terrae Teatro e Teatro Dantés-Art Factory.

Dal 2014 scrive e interpreta testi originali, tra cui Vìt vìt, Rumores, Per sempre Persefone, Camera oscura.

Autrice anche di poesie e racconti, vive e lavora a Lecce, dove conduce laboratori teatrali per adulti e ragazzi.

Dieci minuti è una riflessione urgente e poetica sul tempo.

Una giovane donna, in attesa di un’operazione chirurgica, ha dieci minuti per decidere.

Ma il tempo si dilata, si fa memoria, carne, domanda.

Cos’è che possiamo salvare da questa folle corsa quotidiana?

Un monologo nato da una vicenda personale e divenuto sguardo universale.

Ha fatto parte dello spettacolo Come vogliamo vivere, regia di Ippolito Chiarello, anche in forma di “barbonaggio teatrale” in strada.

Francesca Danese, born in Brindisi in 1977, is an actress and part-time teacher.

She began her theatrical journey in 2004 alongside her Classical Literature studies and earned a PhD in the History of the Italian Language.

In 2013, she graduated from the Talìa School of Dramatic Art and trained with artists such as Francesca Della Monica, Lindsay Kemp, and Ippolito Chiarello.

She has collaborated with companies like Noma Physical Theatre, Ammirata, Finibus Terrae Teatro, and Teatro Dantés-Art Factory.

Since 2014, she writes and performs original works, including Vìt vìt, Rumores, Per sempre Persefone, Camera oscura.

Also a poet and storyteller, she lives and works in Lecce, where she leads theater workshops.

Ten Minutes is a poignant meditation on time.

A young woman is given ten minutes before surgery to make a decision.

Those minutes become a space of resistance, of memory, of life.

What can we still save from the rush that devours us?

The piece was part of Come vogliamo vivere, directed by Ippolito Chiarello, and was also performed as street theater.
