Art director e graphic designer da oltre vent’anni, Omar Trigni ha trovato nella comunicazione visiva la forma più autentica per esprimere emozioni e pensiero.
Con il pastello riscopre il piacere infantile del disegno a mano, esplorando il linguaggio del sogno e dell’ironia.
Definisce la sua arte “ironica/onirica”, due facce dello stesso anagramma.
Ispirato dalla vita quotidiana, alterna sarcasmo e poesia per rappresentare i chiaroscuri dell’esistenza.
La sua ricerca non è rivolta al bello fine a sé stesso, ma a un codice visivo diretto e accessibile, che generi reazioni, sorrisi, riflessioni.
Per lui, l’arte è anche intrattenimento nella sua forma più pura.

Un siparietto surreale e provocatorio: Darwin, travestito da scimmia, viene osservato da primati divertiti.
Charles ribalta le gerarchie dell’evoluzione, ponendo l’uomo in una posizione ironicamente inferiore.
L’opera è una riflessione sul concetto di progresso, sul nostro rapporto con la natura e sulle fragilità dell’identità umana.
Lo spettatore è chiamato direttamente in causa dagli sguardi dei protagonisti, che lo invitano a partecipare alla scena.
È un’opera che diverte e stimola, accessibile a tutti, ma non priva di profondità.

Omar Trigni is an art director and graphic designer with over 20 years of experience.
For him, visual communication is a natural way to express thought and feeling.
He rediscovers the joy of childhood through pastel drawing, creating what he calls “ironic/oneiric” art — two faces of the same anagram.
Everyday life inspires his works, which navigate between sarcasm and poetry.
He seeks not aesthetic perfection, but a visual language that is clear, direct, and open to all.
Art, for Trigni, is also a form of pure entertainment — capable of triggering smiles, questions, and insight.

While researching Darwin, Trigni imagined him ordering the cheapest monkey costume online, wearing it, and walking into the jungle.
Charles is a humorous and ironic take on evolution, where monkeys ridicule a disguised human.
The work questions the idea of progress and challenges human superiority.
The gazes of the characters engage the viewer directly, inviting them into the scene.
It’s playful, yet thought-provoking — an image that amuses, provokes, and includes.
