Biografia (IT)
Pierpaolo Miccolis (Alberobello, 1985) vive e lavora in Puglia.
Artista visivo e performer, si è formato come fashion designer e ha completato gli studi presso l’Accademia di Belle Arti di Bari, specializzandosi in pittura e decorazione.
La sua ricerca attraversa pittura, installazione, fotografia, con un forte legame con l’acquerello e, più recentemente, con la pittura sumi-e.
Miccolis lavora spesso per cicli tematici estesi, toccando questioni socio-ecologiche, antropologia, metamorfosi e iconografia esoterica.
Il suo immaginario unisce simbolismo, spiritualità, tarocchi, sincretismo religioso e pratiche medianiche.
Dal 2015 collabora con Pietre Vive Editore (con cui ha pubblicato Famiglio nel 2019) ed è autore della rubrica “Arcano” per The Bloody Mary Magazine.
Ha esposto in Italia e all’estero in musei e fondazioni (Fondazione Pino Pascali, Museo Benaki di Atene, Biennale di Penne), e nel 2024 è protagonista del cortometraggio Contronatura di Alessandro Piva.

Pierpaolo Miccolis (born in Alberobello, 1985) lives and works in Puglia, Italy.
He is a visual artist and performer with a background in fashion design and a degree in painting and decoration from the Academy of Fine Arts in Bari.
His practice spans painting, installation, and photography, with a deep focus on watercolor and, more recently, sumi-e painting.
He often works in thematic cycles dealing with socio-ecological issues, metamorphosis, anthropology, and esoteric symbology.
Miccolis blends ritual, tarot, spiritualism, and syncretic beliefs into a personal and poetic visual language.
Since 2015, he has collaborated with Pietre Vive Editore and curates the “Arcano” column for The Bloody Mary Magazine.
His work has been exhibited in museums and galleries in Italy and abroad (including Fondazione Pino Pascali, the Benaki Museum in Athens, Penne Biennale), and in 2024 he was the subject of the short film Contronatura by Alessandro Piva.

فنان بصري ومؤدٍ، بدأ مسيرته في تصميم الأزياء وتخصص في الرسم والزخرفة في أكاديمية الفنون الجميلة في باري.
يمارس فنه بين الرسم، التركيب، التصوير، مع اهتمام خاص بالألوان المائية وتقنية سومي-إي اليابانية.
تتناول أعماله قضايا اجتماعية وبيئية، رموز غامضة، وتحولات شكلية، ضمن مسارات بحثية طويلة المدى.
يمزج بين السحر، الروحانية، التاروت، والتقاليد الدينية في عمل بصري رمزي عميق.
منذ 2015 يتعاون مع دار النشر Pietre Vive، وقد أصدر معهم كتابه Famiglio (2019)، وهو محرر زاوية “Arcano” في مجلة The Bloody Mary Magazine.

皮耶尔保罗·米科利斯（1985年生于阿尔贝罗贝洛）现居意大利普利亚。
他是一位视觉艺术家与表演者，拥有时尚设计背景，并在巴里美术学院主修绘画与装饰。
其创作涵盖水彩、装置与摄影，近年来涉猎日本水墨画（sumi-e）技法。
米科利斯擅长以大型主题系列探讨社会、生态、动物行为学与神秘象征之间的联系。
他常结合塔罗牌、通灵术与宗教融合观念，创造出神秘而深邃的视觉语言。
