Biografia (IT)

Sandro Farina è nato a Mottola (TA) nel 1975.

Fin da giovane si appassiona alla fotografia, che con il tempo diventa la sua vocazione e professione.

Nel 1998 apre il suo studio fotografico e intraprende un percorso di ricerca personale, tra camera oscura, sperimentazioni tecniche e scultura.

Le sue opere si distinguono per un’estetica evocativa e critica, in bilico tra realtà e visione.

Opera: Soggiogando

Scultura + fotografia – larghezza 96 cm, altezza 47 cm, spessore 8,5 cm (scultura); stampa 60 × 85 cm – 2025

Soggiogando è un’installazione composta da nove teste di marionette in creta dei primi del ’900 e da una testa centrale di bambino in cartapesta, recuperata da una vecchia bambola degli anni ’30.

Gli elementi sono disposti in un teatrino a forma di simbolo del Dollaro.

Un contributo fotografico completa l’opera, in cui realismo e metafora si fondono.

Farina denuncia la fragilità con cui proteggiamo le generazioni future: la paura, il silenzio, l’oltraggio ai valori, la mercificazione dell’esistenza.

Il denaro come idolo, i bambini come vittime invisibili.

Un’opera forte, toccante, che mette in scena la ferita collettiva del nostro tempo.

Sandro Farina was born in Mottola (Italy) in 1975.

Fascinated by photography from a young age, he made it his life’s project.

He opened his studio in 1998 and began an intense personal journey exploring darkroom practice, alternative techniques, and sculpture.

His art stands out for its symbolic realism and critical depth.

Artwork: Subjugating

Sculpture + photography – 96 × 47 × 8.5 cm (sculpture); 60 × 85 cm (photo) – 2025

Subjugating features nine sculpted heads recovered from early 20th-century clay puppets, and one papier-mâché child’s head from a 1930s doll.

These are arranged in a dollar-shaped puppet theater.

A photograph completes the work.

The piece reflects on our failure to protect the future: fear, silence, loss of values, commodification of life.

Children bear the scars of a world ruled by money.

A bold and painful reflection on moral collapse.

ساندرو فارينا، من مواليد موتولا (إيطاليا) عام 1975.

شغفه بالتصوير الفوتوغرافي بدأ منذ صغره، وتحول إلى مشروع حياة.

أسس استوديوه الخاص عام 1998، وبدأ مسارًا فنيًا يجمع بين التصوير، تقنيات الغرفة المظلمة، والنحت.

أعماله تتسم بالواقعية الرمزية والنقد الاجتماعي العميق.

العمل مكوّن من تسع رؤوس لدمى مصنوعة من الطين تعود لبداية القرن العشرين، ورأس طفل من الورق المعجون من دمية ثلاثينية، موضوعة داخل مسرح دمى على شكل رمز الدولار.

التركيب يوثّق هشاشة الحماية التي نوفرها لأطفالنا، في عالم تُقاس فيه الحياة بالمال.

الخوف، الصمت، وتشوّه القيم هي مواضيع مركزية.

العمل دعوة للتفكير في جراح الطفولة في زمن مادي.

桑德罗·法里纳，1975年出生于意大利莫托拉。

自小热爱摄影，1998年创办个人影像工作室，开启了黑白暗房与雕塑探索并行的艺术之路。

他的作品兼具象征性与批判性，风格鲜明。
