Alessandro Ribezzi nasce a Brindisi nel 1982. Dopo il diploma si trasferisce a Roma per studiare Arti e Scienze dello Spettacolo presso La Sapienza, ma abbandona presto il percorso accademico per dedicarsi da autodidatta al video e alla fotografia.
Realizza cortometraggi, partecipa a festival cinematografici e si specializza in manipolazioni digitali, collaborando alla creazione di copertine musicali e contenuti visivi.
Dopo un anno sabbatico a Londra, approfondisce la pittura a olio d’ispirazione surrealista. La sua ricerca artistica fonde fotografia, videoarte e pittura in un linguaggio personale e visionario.

10:10 (olio su tela, 25x50 cm) è parte del progetto Lock Screen, una serie ispirata alle schermate di blocco degli smartphone.
L’opera riproduce simboli familiari — orario, impronta, batteria — che sovrastano una figura umana sfocata e anonima, relegata a sfondo.
È una denuncia sottile: non è l’immagine a scomparire, ma la nostra capacità di vederla.
Nel tempo della distrazione, l’arte rischia di diventare invisibile proprio mentre ci fissa.
Ogni opera della serie è legata a un orario unico e irripetibile.
Biography (EN)
Alessandro Ribezzi was born in Brindisi in 1982. After graduating, he moved to Rome to study Performing Arts and Sciences at La Sapienza, but soon left academia to pursue video and photography as a self-taught artist.
He created short films, took part in film festivals, and specialized in digital manipulations for music covers and visual content.
A sabbatical year in London broadened his creative scope. He later embraced oil painting with surrealist influences, merging photography, video art, and painting into a distinct artistic voice.

It is a critique of the extinction of perception: the image does not die because it disappears, but because it is no longer seen.

أليساندرو ريبيزي وُلد في برينديزي عام 1982. بعد تخرجه، انتقل إلى روما لدراسة فنون الأداء والعلوم في جامعة لا سابينزا، لكنه ترك الدراسة الأكاديمية ليتفرغ ذاتيًا للفيديو والتصوير الفوتوغرافي.
أنتج أفلامًا قصيرة وشارك في مهرجانات سينمائية، وتخصص في التلاعب الرقمي، متعاونًا في تصميم أغلفة موسيقية ومحتويات مرئية.

阿莱桑德罗·里贝兹，1982年出生于布林迪西。毕业后前往罗马，在拉萨皮恩扎大学学习表演艺术与科学，不久后放弃学业，自学视频与摄影艺术。
他创作短片，参加电影节，并专注于数字图像处理，合作制作音乐封面与视觉内容。
在伦敦的间隔年丰富了他的创作视野，随后他转向油画创作，以超现实主义风格为主，将摄影、视频与绘画融合为个人独特的艺术语言。
