Davide Salerno nasce a Monopoli nel 1997. La sua innata curiosità lo ha spinto a esplorare molteplici ambiti, dall’informatica al fumetto, dalla mitologia al cucito, dall’intaglio alla psicologia.

Per lui, i limiti sono fondamentali: stimolano la creatività e aiutano a definire la propria identità.

Crede che la vera libertà non sia assenza di confini, ma il confronto con essi. È lì che si genera la forma, il senso, la possibilità di essere.

Scultura – legno levigato dal mare, bruciato e scolpito – h 63 cm

Una figura umana, forse un bambino, composta da legni sbiancati e levigati dalle onde.

Bruciature e incisioni accentuano crepe, ferite, difetti: il corpo come archivio del trauma, eco di bombardamenti, disastri, perdite.

Gli occhi anneriti raccontano il terrore e la perdita della speranza; una piccola parte non bruciata simboleggia invece la resilienza.

La figura, seduta su una sedia, porge al visitatore un quaderno della memoria: pagine da leggere, scrivere, custodire.

Un gesto fragile e potente: offrire a uno sconosciuto ciò che resta del proprio essere.

Biography (EN)

Davide Salerno was born in Monopoli in 1997. His natural curiosity led him to explore many fields: computer science, comics, mythology, carving, sewing, and psychology.

He believes that limits are necessary for creativity and personal growth.

True freedom, for him, is not the absence of boundaries but the act of facing them — where form and identity are born.

Sculpture – sea-worn wood, burnt and carved – h 63 cm

A human figure, perhaps a child, built from bleached wood smoothed by the sea.

Burn marks and cuts highlight cracks and flaws — the body as memory of trauma, of war, of loss.

Its charred eyes reflect fear and hopelessness; a small untouched area glows with resistance.

Seated on a chair, the sculpture offers a notebook to the viewer: a space for memory, sharing, and dialogue.

It is a quiet act of faith: handing over what remains of oneself.

وُلد دافيدي ساليرنو في مونوبولي عام 1997. دفعه فضوله الفطري لاستكشاف مجالات متنوعة مثل علوم الحاسوب، الكوميك، الأساطير، النحت، الخياطة وعلم النفس.

يرى أن الحدود ضرورية للإبداع والنمو الذاتي، وأن الحرية الحقيقية تنبع من مواجهتها، وليس من غيابها.

الشقوق والحروق تبرز الألم والندوب، وتحول الجسد إلى ذاكرة حية للحرب والفقد.

العيون المحروقة تعبّر عن اليأس، فيما تلمع بقعة صغيرة بداخلها كرمز للأمل.

المنحوتة تجلس على كرسي، وتمسك دفترًا يُقدَّم للمشاهد: دعوة للكتابة، للتأمل، وللشفاء.

إنه فعل ثقة: تسليم الذكريات لمن يجرؤ على النظر.

达维德·萨莱尔诺1997年生于蒙诺波利。他对世界充满好奇，涉猎计算机、漫画、神话、雕刻、缝纫与心理学等多个领域。

他相信，限制是促发创造力和自我成长的核心条件。真正的自由，是敢于面对边界。

雕塑 – 被海水冲刷的木材，燃烧与雕刻 – 高63厘米

一个人形雕像，也许是个孩子，由海水漂来的木材制成，表面保留裂纹与焦痕。

象征创伤、战争、失落。

被烧焦的双眼代表恐惧与绝望；仅存未烧焦的一小块，象征抵抗与希望。

雕塑坐于椅上，怀抱笔记本递向观者，邀请人们记录记忆与感受。

这是一个宁静而深刻的信任行为：把自己仅存的部分交予他人。
