Adelia de Padova è un’artista che ha fatto della sperimentazione il cuore pulsante della sua ricerca. Dopo anni dedicati alla famiglia e al lavoro, ha riscoperto la pittura come forma di rinascita personale durante un periodo di profonda trasformazione interiore.

La sua cifra distintiva è la tecnica della trama sfilata: fili sottratti con cura alla juta grezza creano ferite nella tela che non rappresentano mancanze, ma possibilità. In questi spazi si apre un dialogo tra assenza e presenza, tra olio e tessuto, tra forza e vulnerabilità.

In questo linguaggio visivo, il gesto diventa metafora: anche se segnata, la tela resta integra. Come l’essere umano, che nelle sue fragilità scopre nuova forza.

Adelia de Padova is an artist who has made experimentation the pulsating heart of her research. After years dedicated to family and work, she rediscovered painting as a form of personal rebirth during a period of profound inner transformation.

Her distinctive mark is the technique of unwoven thread: threads carefully removed from raw jute create wounds in the canvas that do not represent shortcomings, but possibilities.

In these spaces, a dialogue emerges between absence and presence, oil and fabric, strength and vulnerability.

In this visual language, the gesture becomes a metaphor: even when marked, the canvas remains intact. Like the human being, who in their fragilities discovers new strength.

Her works invite us to look beyond the surface, to listen to the scars that speak, to perceive beauty in the unfinished. She actively participates in exhibitions and artistic projects, pursuing an authentic, intense, and deeply personal vision.

In a time when everything seems to be unraveling – peace, nature, humanity – this work gathers the essential: the weave.

Suspended rectangles and unwoven sections tell of matter that resists, that protects. If I had to save one thing, it would be this: the possibility to mend.

Because even if everything burns, the sun will still rise – only if we can still weave the being.
